For their new My Punk music video, The Subs decided to drive from Belgium to France on mopeds and film the entire trip.

Halfway there, a mad idea crossed their mind and they drove into a shop with their mopeds. Result: The Subs were arrested by the French police and they were obliged to delete the footage. Luckily, they managed to recover everything.
Official reaction:
“We had a great time and we would do it again anytime.”
That’s the spirit!

Posted by JayAre in Big in Belgium, Music News, Music Video on 21/03/2009
The life of a rock star can be hard… Imagine hanging upside down for a few hours while recording a new music video. Jan Paternoster, singer of The Black Box Revelation, had to go through it for their great new clip Love, Love is on My Mind:
Actually this is the second clip The Black Box Revelation releases for Love, Love is on My Mind. But the first one looked a little less professional if you ask us:
Rock on…
Lyrics:
Talking, kissing that eve
She was hot, she was sweet
I had a drink in the bar
Took a walk on the street
And later on that night, I went back home
When I was back home,
I heard her voice
She wasn’t talking to me
But through the telephone
She left a message on my answering machineIt said
Well, love, love is on my mind
Love, love, love makes me feel alive
The moment I met you, the place, the time
Love, love was already on my mind
The one thing I live for
It’s like my gasolineSo we met again
I dressed up real good
Her read lips, red boots
We were kissing again
And then late that night she went home with me
And at my place
She had dinner with me
Romantic candle lights
Classic tunes
The master bedroom Wanted to be satisfied
And she saidWell love, love, is on my mind
Love, love love makes me feel alive
The moment I met you, that place, the time
Love, love was already on my mind
The one thing I live for
It’s like my gasolineLove, love, is on my mind
Love, love love makes me feel alive
The moment I met you, that place, the time
Love, love was already on my mind
The one thing I live for
It’s like my gasoline

Stijn goes social: Password
Posted by JayAre in Big in Belgium, Music Video on 18/03/2009
Stijn is returning to his basics, the elektrofunk we know from his 2004 debut album.

Enjoy the dirty beats on his new single Password where Stijn discovers The Social Web (MySpace, facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, PhotoBucket, …):
Lyrics:
I bet you want the password, bet you wanna log in?
I bet you want the password, said you wanna log in?Ready Baby? Nothing’s for free
Wanna login, wanna get with me
You can dial the number, I won’t pick up the phone
Pick it up while I
Doing this, this and that
Think about the password, that’s where it’s at
Scrolling down menus, wasting our time
Browsing your profile while you’re checking mineI bet you want the password, bet you wanna log in?
I bet you want the password, said you wanna log in?Myspacing, Facebooking
Tell me is it true you’re LinkedIn and good-looking?
Won’t you let me put my Flickr in your Photobucket?
We’ll make a slideshow and afterwards we’ll blog it
Props and kudos, laughing out loud
Meet me in the chat room before I log out
Is it clicking with you, or are you clicking on me?
Virtual gifts don’t mean a schnitzel to meI bet you want the password, bet you wanna log in?
I bet you want the password, said you wanna log in?Play it!

New music video for Milow – Out of My Hands
Posted by JayAre in Big in Belgium, Music Video on 14/03/2009
Today Milow released his new music video for the song Out Of My Hands from the album Coming of Age. The video was shot in Iceland on February 11 & 12. And there is an interesting story about both the song and the video.

Milow is said to have written the song for a girl who died of cancer. Her parents asked Milow to write a song for her and by the time he contacted them she had already passed away. The great personality Milow is, he decided to fulfill her wish and wrote the song Out of My Hands.
As said before, the video for Out of My Hands was shot in Iceland. On their way to the video shoot, a team of 5 people including Milow himself had a car accident during a blizzard. By wonder, nobody was injured. You can watch pictures from the accident on Milow’s dutch blog.
And now the most important bit of this post, the new Milow music video for Out of My Hands:
Listen to Out of My Hands by Milow on Last.fm.
Lyrics:
I made the call just too late
At the end of May
I just thought I could wait
For one more day
In the time that passed
You went down so fast
You went down so fastOut of my reach, out of my hands
I didn’t understand
I would have changed all my plansAn empty house, a setting sun
At four AM
Some battles fought are battles won
But this ain’t one of them
One more shadow cast
You went down so fast
You went down so fastOut of my reach, out of my hands
I didn’t understand
I would have changed all my plans
I would have changed
Out of my reach, out of my handsNow the leaves are turning brown
I watch ‘em blow
Where the earth pulls them down
I let you go
As your breath unwinds
Through the restless pinesOut of my reach, out of my hands
I didn’t understand
I would have changed all my plans
I would have changed
Out of my reach, out of my hands
I didn’t understand
I would have changed all my plans
I would have changed

Can’t seem to get this Blackbox Revelation song out of my head… Enjoy Never Alone/Always Together (2008):
Listen to Never Alone/Always Together by The Black Box Revelation on Last.fm
Lyrics:
Is it hard or is it cool, my friend
To be two people in your head, all day?
I wish that you could be one personality
So you could talk & think the same
And this all would pass byNever alone, always together
Maybe you’re blessed, maybe you’re cursed
Never alone, always together
Sometimes I think it could be worseIs this truth or is the other telling lies
You change your voice and then to my surprise
You’re waging war behind your victim eyes
One of you laughing while I hear the other cryNever alone, always together
Maybe you’re blessed, maybe you’re cursed
Never alone, always together
Sometimes I think it could be worseNever alone, always together
Maybe you’re blessed, maybe you’re cursed
Never alone, always together
Sometimes I think it could be worse
